When is my payment due?  A deposit of $100 plus tax is due at booking to hold your spot.  The remainder of the session fee is due the day of your appointment.  It is non-refundable, but can be used for a future session within 6 weeks of the original appointment date.  If you are booking and appointment within 7 days of the appointment occurring, full payment will be due.

Do I get any digital images with my session fee?  Session fees do not included digital files, however, some sessions do include professional quality prints.  

When and how will I get my images to preview?  Your images will be beautifully retouched to perfection, and this takes time.  I put as much love into the first image as I do into the very last one, and I know you will love the finished product.

  • General Portraits:  You will be emailed a link to the online gallery (within 3 weeks of your session) where you can view your photographs.  You will be able to share this gallery with friends and family, and choose your favorites, but you will not get your images from here.  Also, others you share the gallery with can create their own favorites and/or place orders for images or print products.  Once you have selected your favorites, I will deliver them to you via a great service called Dropbox.  If you purchase additional images than the ones included in your session, you must make payment for these before I will Dropbox all of them at the same time.   You also have the option to schedule an in-person ordering session to view your portraits and order products.  
  • Other Sessions:  We will set up an in-person ordering session to view your portraits.  At this time you will see your images and choose your favorites to include in your product order.  You will also be given the link to your online gallery to share with family and friends.

How long is my gallery available?  Your gallery will be available for 21 days online.  If you purchase digital files, they remain in your Dropbox for two weeks and then deleted.  I suggest immediately downloading them to any and all devices you own, and also onto a USB drive.  If you need the images reloaded to the Dropbox for any reason, there is a $50 charge.  

What payment types do you accept?  I can take payments via PayPal, cash, or personal checks.  

What locations do you use?  I’m up for anything!  As a natural light photographer, the time of day we shoot matters more than the location, but I have a few spots that I absolutely love and know you will, too.  We will collaborate on the best location for your shoot.  If the location requires entrance fees (Arboretum, for example), these will be paid by the client and the photographer’s will be paid for by the client.  If the location is more than 25 miles from the 75070 zip code, a $25 charge will apply to the session fee.

If I buy a print of an image that was not included in my image choices, will I get that image as well?  No.  These two purchases are separate, but I do offer collections that include digital files and products.  

Why do you charge sales tax?  I’m registered with the State of Texas as a Limited Liability Company, and photographers are required to charge sales tax on all session fees and print products.  Thank you for your understanding.

Can I get a CD or USB drive of my images?  I have found that immediate delivery of your images is what makes my clients happy.  With a Dropbox, you can download your images to multiple devices quickly and easily.  If you want your images on a device, I’m happy to do this for a $25 fee (but you will still get a Dropbox).

Do you offer print products?  Yes!  Digital images are wonderful in so many ways, but choosing to turn them into beautiful art to display in your home is a wonderful decision.  I am a full service photographer and provide many options for products.  For a list of these, please contact me to inquire.
